Invisible Characters

All of a sardine my characters are invisible. I have not played for a while, but the game loads and plays just fine, but the dudes are all invisible. Everything else, animals trees, city all there??????Any ideas?????

Is the problem in Civ4 or CivRev? If the problem is in Civ4, try installing the latest patch:

and also upgrade to latest DirectX:

It also helps to install latest drivers for your video card.

In civrev, units can be invisible too, but I've only seen this on multiplayer in games that are really buggy to begin with. It's not every unit, and usually the unit has to die before becoming invisible, then they can move around and actually take cities, it's weird.


he must be talking about PC Civ though, never heard of this problem for the console.

It happend to me when I played Mali, all of my archers were invisible when fortified in the city. As soon as I move them out of the city they become visible again.
