Can't Beat Immortal!

Ive never really understood why AI buy strategics or not. The thing that seems to be the most important is whether or not they already have some.

You can sometimes still find buyers for iron in modern era... I just keep trying all game long.
As a note, when I tend to have stock and difficulty to find buyers I do not take the risk to sell them 1 by 1. As soon as I find a buyer I sell 5 at once for 7gpt (or 225g). Find it less risky than try to sell 1 by 1 and the civ not wanting more than 1.

Yeah, it seems kind of random to me too. Some civs will buy horses all game long. I think that means they have a mounted unit they have not upgraded. Seems very odd, especially when other civs give away iron and/or horses.
