MapEdit-Problem

Somehow,my editor got screwed up,and the cities and overlays don't show,which is a real problem.I tried reinstalling it,but no dice,any suggestions?

After having a quick look in my vanilla civ editor, in the View menu, there is an option "Clean map". If this is ticked, all overlays are hidden in the map. Is this the problem?

Ticked?All I have is the Regular Version 1.27 editor....

What I'm saying is this: in the file bar, go to the 'View' menu. In there is the option 'Clean map'. If there is a tick next to where it is written, all overlays in the editor become hidden. If it is ticked, if you select it, it will become unticked and all overlays will reappear. If it is not ticked, I don't know whats happened to your editor.

What do you mean ticked?Do you mean Check marked?

The only overlays that appear are rivers?CIties,irrigation,etc,do not show!This is starting to piss me off VERY much.
