newbie- need help on iphone with civ rev

hey guys, i just got civ rev for iphone and i really wanna learn how to play it but cant figure it out for the life of me. ive tried looking at other sites and no one explains it. can anyone help? thanks

Welcome to CivFanatics, jeff!

If you are completely new to Civ, I would recommend downloading the extended manual from here and read it first (only 36 pages). The manual is for Nintendo DS version but the game rules are the same. You should also check out the help section in the game.

Also, you should print out this tech tree for easy reference.

After doing that, you should have some good ideas on how to play.
