Do we want a Military Alliance with India?

We are at War with Russia following their attack, violating the ROP we formed to move our troops into position for Babylon. We are in our Golden Age, and are due to research Military Tradition ahead of schedule in only 2 further turns. The discussions here have raised the possibility of other Civs declaring War on us as well and considered a Military Alliance with India could be useful to help prevent India declaring War, and aid us in our War efforts. Do we want one? The cost of an Alliance against Russia is currently 40 gold, we will not know the cost against Germany or Babylon until the option becomes available. This MA would be an insurance policy only. The Indians are only really militarily relevant v. the Babs - and given our own position and strength that relevance is probably very minor. Where things might get more interesting is if there is a cascade of MAs and war declarations - although India itself might not be of much help militarily they might (MIGHT) help diplomatically by bringing in some others into our 'bloc'. Its all a bit speculative - but I am voting Yes.
