HOW TO: Create a Civilization

thanks for the tutorial, i got myself a working CIV. i have a minor question through, what determines, if the CIV starts with a scout or a warrior? as mine starts with the warrior but i would like the scout, as i have a modded unique scout i would like to use for my CIV

While i'm not exactly sure why the scout is used, the direct trigger is the ability to build a scout -> having hunting as starting tech does it.

I just noticed that one of the button graphic templates (the border one) in the OP is now 404'ing (Red x?). Anyone have a backup?

(Looking at the quote, it was hosted on imageshack, but was probably deleted when they implemented a new idiotic image number limit.)

This program can't do that, it's just there to convert stuff into the right formats.
Use some other program, e.g. IrfanView or paint.net (both are freely availabe).
