Wondering if I can run this

ACER ASPIRE E1-510 N2820 4GB 500GB W8.1

My laptop is dead so I need a new one, be next year before I can invest in a gaming desktop.
Need a cheap laptop for the meantime, and i just wondered if the above ACER would run Civ5?

The dead laptop did, but badly, so i imagine this will , but with only consoles crappy browsers to access the net, its hard to research things.

If it wont, i best accelerate my saving for a desktop.

Well it'll be borderline from what I can gather. The laptop you have in mind has enough RAM, but with integrated graphics and a dual core CPU it might run anything larger than a standard size map very slowly. Plus, this laptop appears to have no optical drive, so bear that in mind.

EDIT: Some variants do seem to have an optical disk drive, so it depends which particular version you pick up.
