By the Rights awarded by the original Treaty of Oregon, while Great Britain and Hudson's Bay company have rights to Oregon, Canada does not. We would ask, in the spirit of diffusing an already tense situation, that Canada remove its settlers from this contested area.

The USA and Russia have come to an agreement. Russia has promised that the slaves stolen by its subjects will be returned to their owners. It is our sincerest hopes that this will put an end to the violent skirmishes currently destabilizing relations between our people.
