Is it worth it?

I'm stupidly friends with the guy everyone hates, and everyone hates me for it. I really need to stay on the AI's good side, so I'm wondering, is it worth it, diplomatically speaking, to backstab my friend and denounce him? Does the modifier for denouncing a friend outweigh the modifier for mutual denunciation or vice versa?

Denounce him, or wait till the DoF expires.

This is the answer. If you denounce him while he`s a friend you`ll jump from the frying pan into the fire.

I personally am the kinda guy who`ll stick with one good friend even if everyone hates me as long as I think we`re in the right.

Is it Bismarck? Everybody hates Bismarck. If it's Bismarck boil his blood and melt his iron. If it's not then be nice to whoever it is and kill other people.
