Forum sure is slow lately....

What up with that?

The business of the forums could certainly be a lot worse. There was a week or so when there were next to no posts in the civ4 forum. Compare that to the influx of new threads everyday right now in the civ5 forum.

I don't think it's slow at all.

They are slow. The same slowdown witnessed at the end of CIV IV's lifespan.

I don't mean there aren't a lot of posts.

I mean the server is slow. When you click on a link it takes minutes to load.

Not seeing slowness myself. Try clearing your cache.

I have no issues that are too much, used to be way worse I remember

There's a support forum that would be more fitting for thsi type of thread

HOwever, as far as I know there was/is an issue regarding the e-mailing of notifications of replies that were somehow "corrupted" or.. virused or whatever.

I used to get few, then they stopped since.. again.

However, as of now, the site has been loading perfectly fine (it is at times slow but it is barely noticeable and I've gotten used to it.)
