Okay, I really should have figured this out by now, but when you put a link in a post, how do you get it to say "Click Here" or something instead of actually listing an ugly looking four inch address?

So embarrassing.

See those buttons above where you type? See the one with the paperclip and the world behind it? Click that, and it asks for the link URL and the text you want to be displayed. You can then look at the code it generated, if you want to know how to do it manually.

^^ That's a good way, but to save you time from editing posts to look at the source, here's what the code should look like:

[ url=http://www.google.com]Click here.[/url]

Just lose the space between the first bracket and the 'u'.

Oh sure, if you want to do things the easy way.

Actually, that's what I usually do, but I couldn't find a post with a link like I wanted when I thought of asking this question. Though I don't guess I looked that hard.
