I always wondered if there was a way to only be able to play up until the Medevil or Rennisance era, so all the future techs' and units are disabled? Thanks.
 
awh :( See I palyed the Alexander the Great scenario for the first time last night and I loved it. Would be nice if that was possible.
 
I believe there is a turn limit you can set to the game. I've never used it myself. Of course, you'd have to determine just how many turns it will take you to reach the Renaissance and that varies.
 
It can be done via a mod...it would probably be quite simple (though you would have to keep the 'future tech' tech in the tree or the game might crash, I think).
