Rise from Erebus Wiki

Remember, being amused by people guessing wildly at unrevealed plot points is bad for your health!

And of course the only way to reverse such effects is to explain, in great detail, the information that you have previously held back... :mischief:

Bright day
Where is delete post?

only admins can delete posts.

which one did you want to delete ?

The one where I talk about deleting. Man, what is up with all the disallowing to delete posts? I swear that years ago, when I joinded CFC, you could delete posts.

Oh well.

I was wondering what statesmen specialists do, untill google found the infro in Orbis thread that is.

so its nearing time for me to be taking my last weeks vacation to sacrifice to the 1.3 version of the octopus overlords....excellent

We now have a nice little chart some of you may appreciate... the Spell Overview. It displays all 21 mana types, the spell promotions each mana allows, and then what spells are allowed by said promotions. Hell, it even lists civ/race-specific variations, such as Corpus or Burning Eye.

The bulk of the work was done by Shoggi, with some help from myself and Black_Imperator in filling in a few pages and making it pretty.

Sometime today I'll be adding a second chart to the page, showing Mastery promotions and effects; Just have to decide on a good method of displaying it. ;)

As promised, that page now has a second chart, displaying the Mastery promotion chain. Too cluttered to display effects as well (most don't actually allow spells), so in the end I left that off; Can find them from clicking the promo anyway. ;)

To reiterate something: Until 1.3 is released, please do not try to modify anything on the wiki. It may seem helpful (and quite possibly would be), but it may end up being one of the (many!) things which has changed between 1.23 and 1.3... Which means the admins would have to go back through and fix all of your pages. Which would be extremely aggravating.

For lore entries, if they are new (like the dimensional mana one you posted), you can submit them , but in the talk page associated with the page , not on the page itself until it's been validated by the team.

And when editing a page, remember to delete unused tags.

My bad, didn't see that.

Although I doubt lore entries will be problematic.

They are not, actually; That's one thing we've been allowing. If you'd like to suggest lore, find the correct page, and hit 'discuss'; Place it there. If the page isn't created yet, simply use the talk page of the general category (units, buildings, etc). We'll be able to see it. ;)

Like BI said, once the wiki is open to public modification, please, delete unused tags. The templates are set up using default values, so blank entries (|strategy= , for example) cause issues.

I'll have a list of guidelines (simple ones, just to keep to the same methods we've been using) once we open it up.

It's worth noting that if you hit on an entry without any pedia, say a pedia-less Leader, you can then select pedia-less Leaders from the bottom of the page. I don't know if you want to add a Kitchener "Your pedia entries need you" once 1.3 is released :)

Another tag which might prove useful is a versioning tag (e.g. 1.23, 1.3, Pending Approval), especially if you can search across it.

Is there a way to use the wiki (or the advanced pedia reader, I guess) to find all units that start with the flying promotion?
