Game lag for CEG3.6 or 3.5.?

I haven't run into any old bugs, but I'm finding that my new game is running remarkably slower than the old mod.
I've have rebooted my computer twice, but it takes about 3-5 seconds for a unit to respond to commands. It also takes that long for a purhcase to appear or any other action to appear on graphics. The autoforward to the next unit is even slower.
Here's some log data, but nothing in there reflects the actual slowness. The civs run their turns quickly, but then there's 25 secs where nothing happens:

Here is the file.
I tried to change and optimize resolution.
I gave the computer a 3 hour break.
Tried DX9 rather than dx11.
The lag is not the other players.
It occurs during my turn when I click on a unit.
Nothing happens for seconds.
At the end of the log, I was waiting for 50 seconds before I saved and quit.
This also occurs when I pick a production option or move around workers in city screen.
No response from the interface for a long time.

The mod is not playable after turn 100 or so.
It takes about 30 seconds to give orders for 1 unit.
The problem almost vanishes when I use the F10 mode.
The problem also vanishes with Vanilla, or so it seems up to turn 100.
Attached are my log files, nothing odd but alot of IGE editing to help the AI catch up.

Any advice would be appreciated.
I'm using a laptop with an I3 processor and 6GB RAM.
 
Are there certain parts of the CEG/CAT mod I can deactivate to improve graphic response times?
Again, why does Vanilla work fine but not CEG?

It sounds like you are being CPU/GPU limited. You can try disable logging to see if that helps.
 
I just did a playthrough to turn 100 on Vanilla and found the lag is just as bad.
I'm sorry for misleading anyone; this is the first time I've gone that far in Vanilla.
I guess I'm stuck with F10 until I get another computer.
 
The system was stalling when I selected a unit in a tile.
It would not progress to the next unit or build queue for at least a minute at turn 150.
I found that hitting F10 or F6 then escape would sometimes make it proceed.
This is awkward and would end up causing other problems.
Playing in F10 was pretty zippy, but it's hard to fight wars in strategic.
Many map stats also don't show in F10.
Taking a break maybe defrag computer.
