New World Options

Edit: Never mind figured it out, hold the mouse over the drop boxes and it explains what they do.

Anyone know what these do. I can not find any info on them in the readme or in the forum. There are a number of options to choose from. Each chose has several possible values.

NewWorld Policy
New World Eras Behind
BarbCiv Tech Fraction
Bonus Units Multiplier
New World Bonus

If you hover over them you should get a good idea from the pop up info.

NewWorld Policy: Basic policy of how New world civs settle, controls how advanced they are etc


New World Eras Behind: If aplicable to the New World policy that's set, will cause the New World civs to settle only after the set Era is reached.


BarbCiv Tech Fraction: Effects the fraction of techs granted to new world civs (again dependent on the Policy - certain policies render this option null and void).
