Civ 5 Graphic issues?

having problems with civilization 5 weird green graphic patches keep showing up during game play, i just got a new computer so this is the first I've seen of it but every time i play this dumb green patches show up. please help

16.0 gb (ram)
processor: AMD A8-5500 APU with radeon HD Graphics 3.2 Ghz
System type: 64 bit
Grpahics card: Geforce GTX 650 TI
at this point assuming its my graphics card since no one has responded.
