We had been living in Hell for so long it felt like forever, until our lord Sabathiel led us back to Erebus. The Ice Age had passed, but we had no idea who survived the harshness of those centuries.

We build our new capital, Torrorerial, and we gear up for whatever dangers might lurk in the wilderness.

Friendly villagers teach us the wisdom of the ancient chants.

Our scouts bring reports of a barbarian city nearby. Sabathiel tells us that Orcs are actually the descendents of the Bannor followers of Bhall that got twisted from her fall. Their passion once burned for justice and light: they've become nothing more than chaotic beasts moved by hatred and rage ...

We encounted another civilization, worshippers of the fallen God of Winter. Our holy light will melt their heathen beliefs.

The taint is stronger than we thought. Our scouts witness another barbarian city:

...And yet one more! Clearly these lands are cursed, the followers of Agares must have a strong presence on the mortal plane as well.

We didn't hear reports from those scouts for a while now, it seems like they've met their demise. We will avenge them.

We recover glorious knowledge of the Age of Magic: our empire will be sprawling and wealthy, or we'll get overrun by orcs. We've not been fighting in hell for centuries only to let some greenskinned brute boss us around.

We summon faithful warriors: their love for their country is so strong it will allow them to keep fighting through their death as long as there's evil around.

And we gather a powerful band of elite axemen who will soon slaughter the hordes of barbarians that surround us. They'll get trained in offensive discipline, as we have many cities to capture.

Finaly the game is up ;)
I suppose i will go next then.

If a child plays with matches, its mother will scold it, not because she hates it, not out of spite, no she does this to protect it from burning itself, as the child cannot comprehend the danger it could bring on itself.
The people on Erebus are no different, while not bad by nature, they are naive, they trust the lies of the wicked and they fall for the deception of the devils.
And they are about to burn themselves horrible.

The times are calm, our local legend moves out to protect our land from wild beasts and savage orcs.
We develop plans for futher exploration and manage to construct roads to alow faster traveling.
Spoiler :

Travelers report of a grand monument that was build to honor Ogham, how foolish of them, knowledge is a important aspect of every society and all good citizen sould strive to improve their education, but without proper guidance, it can be very dangerous.
Spoiler :

It is naive to think, that a society can live by faith alone.
People need all sorts of goods for their daily lifes, they cannot manufacure all of them on their own.
That is why everyone specialises in one craft and trades the products they manufacture for the goods they need.
But be weary, Mammon is a powerfull demon.

We have discovered yet another orcish settlement, those savages are spreading out over the land, we must stop them!
Spoiler :

Our local legend wishes to retire, but we cannot let that happen, we need im at the front line.
I am sure he will fulfill his duties to the nation.
Spoiler :

Some heritics say we are just pawns in the game of the gods.
Even if that was true, is the stone at the top of the wall more important than the one at the bottom?
The entire wall would fall if even one stone was missing, what matters is not if you are pawn or king, but the side you fight for!
Spoiler :

Behold savages! I will smite you!
Spoiler :

Klimorph has blessed this world with many ritches, if only her children weren't overcome by greed.
Spoiler :

In Junil´s name, the soldiers will fight and He will grant victory.

In the following years we build some more warriors, for defence AND offence. Our glorious capture of a barbarian city rallied some crusaders to our cause, and those strong fighters will be invaluable in capturing more cities so that we might get more crusaders to help our numbers.

In the meanwhile, we research weaving and calendar, to be able to harvest the plentiful banana and wool our lands are blessed with. Soon we'll want to reveal the secrets of the Order from Heaven and join their ranks: the clerics will make short work of any who might oppose the path to law and justice.

We get lucky and our local legend meets a travelling alchemist who offers some healing potions for a bargain price :goodjob:

We recruit more workers to improve the lands surrounding our new city and to build a road there.

Another barbarian city is captured, and another crusade joins our cause! :scan:

We also build a square to welcome travelling merchants to torrorerial, we'll need the gold to support our expanding empire.

The Illians are trying to capture this barbarian city, but their stack got damaged and withered by some spell. I think there must be a dangerous mana guardian up there... better stay away from it :D

Hi, sorry for being late :)

I'd love to join this game, but will it be okay if I quit in the late game, like in our previous game? I have upgraded my graphic driver and I feel that my laptop runs MoMana faster. But we'll never know what will happen

And the Lord did speak unto the warriors, and He did give commands, and He said: "I shall not suffer any to disobey these, my orders. But those who follow them, and heed their words, to those I can promise my protection and favor, they shall be my soldiers, and they shall have their reward at the end of time." Hearing this, the warriors fell to their knees and promised their swords and their lives to the Holy War, and they were born again, and none could stand in their way.- 3rd Book of Junil, 1st Chapter, 5th Passage

Spoiler :

Our warriors discover a horrible demon near Mercannul, the abomination curses them, withering their flesh.

Spoiler :

But fear not, the waters of the pool of tears can heal any wound, and all their scars where undone.

Spoiler :

A crafty dwarf offers to turn our copper to gold though alchemy, of course we do not partake in such nonsense!

Spoiler :

And jet another city of the savages falls to the blade of the righteous warriors.

Hints for the next player:
Our workers got eaten by some angry lion, replacements are needed.
There is a skeleton camp, that spawned near our capital, it should be removed.
Also try to build some clerics.
