Please be kind. I am new to this sight.
My question is about how I get stuck playing this game. I can only describe it as "the big stall".
I get to a certain point and stall in my progress. I don't have options to receive new items. I end up acquiring and deleting items over and over. The rest of the players pass me by and I am no longer competitive in the game. I suspect it has to do with what I acquire and the order I acquire it. I'm really considering not playing this game because of it!
Can anyone out there help ?

What do you mean "options to receive new items"? Your tech rate isn't fast enough to research new buildings and units, so you just keep building (and then deleting) the same buildings and units? Do you build settlers, to found more cities? Do you research and build science buildings? Do you focus on growing your cities?
