Would be Helpful to Off Load Artifacts

Up front, I will acknowledge this was a problem of my own making.

I was digging up ruins. Oops- one too many beads.

The problem was that it was placed in the Hermitage. I wanted the Hermitage for my three art pieces but now I had some beads that I couldn't give away- and I couldn't get a theming bonus from the Hermitage.

You can build another museum, if you don't have enough room, and put the artifact in there to get it out of Hermitage.

Or sacrifice an existing museum theming bonus to get the larger Hermitage theming bonus.

All these are fine and dandy, but at some point, you need to acknowledge that he's right.

It is possible to fill great works slots (specifically artifacts) rather easily, and then you can't get rid of any more without literally founding another city.

Chum is right- sadly all my museums and cathedrals were full. Eventually the issue settled itself when a French city revolted and joined my Civ. I was able to throw it into a spot there.
