So since nothing ended up happening today there will definitely be a mission on Saturday and maybe even Monday.

I'll be sleeping over at a friend's house Saturday and on a long-ass flight to California on Monday, so...

Massacre at St. Iggy's Academy
Tragedy struck at Rhode Island's most prestigious school Sunday night in one of the most brutal massacres in Rhode Island history. During the middle of the night what investigators are labeling as a suicide cult numbering thirteen men and women managed to break into the academy campus and into the main school building. Upon arriving they abducted a student, Chloe Cavlandros (grade 10), who was breaking curfew and took her with them.

Once inside the school building they proceeded to torture the student before leaving her for dead on the school roof. Cavlandros's body was visually unidentifiable when the police found her on the roof, it was only after a DNA test that she was identified. Forensic results state that she was apparently stabbed a currently uncounted amount of times across her entire body, but some how managed to survive the stabbings in many vital organs until she bled out roughly two hours later. Detectives are baffled as to how she managed to stay alive for so long.

After leaving Cavandros on the roof the cultists apparently went downstairs before committing suicide in a similar manner, although with not nearly as many stabbings and none surviving for as long as she did. This wasn't the first time students of the academy have been put in danger as can be seen during a field trip to Salem in- Story continued on page 4.

Management orders info:
Current date is September 28, we will be managing until October 10. There will probably be one or two missions that occur in the intervening time. You only get 4 slots as always.

Things you might want to do: Go to Chloe's candlelight vigil, try to find the origin of the rosaries, try to investigate the orbs of light, relax (bonus san restoration for RPing it), explore your powers, do your homework, or something else entirely.

Important side note: Currently the only players who IC know that Kathy killed Chloe are Red and Leccy (as Tam was able to see the miasma getting pulled out of Chloe's body).

Kathy: (1d4 [+5 RP]: 3) +8 sanity. Loss of grades. A in Latin and English. B in History. Lowered grades in Math and Chemistry. Chemistry lowered to C-.
Lils: (2d20 [+2 Planning]: 12, 8) You have managed to harvest 4 encounters worth of ectoplasm. From here on out ectoplasm will be measured in encounters for the sanity of the GM. Lowered grades in Math, English, PE. Math lowered to a B-.

Some of you guys went to Chloe's wake, but there was an interruption in the form of Kathy going out to investigate the woods. The party decided to stick together and follow her to a shallow grave she started digging in which was later revealed to belong to Lils.

This particular brand of creepiness was interrupted by an attack by a Wendigo who scattered the party and got Lils and Kathy to retreat to the portal, where Kathy saw some rather disturbing contents. Alek and Sam put up a good fight against the Wendigo with Alek consuming Sam's keys to use as a improvised blade. Tamra ended up being the MVP when she summoned a dragon to deal with the beast. And the party received further help in the form of the Rosary man.

There will be no mission on Saturday as I will be working at a clinic in Mexico for the entire day. Unless anyone has objections the mission will be moved to Tuesday.
