Is City Growth affected by Game Speed?

I was wondering if city population growth is affected by game speed. Do cities need less food to grow on Quick? More on Epic? Would game speed affect late-game population numbers, or is the entire system scaled to this setting?

I can't seem to find any formulas on this after googling, especially since Carl's Guides is down :(

Seeing as I don't end Quick games with appallingly small cities, I believe food required is affected by the same multiplier that research, faith cost, policies, border growth, production, and purchase cost are affected by. (.67 for Quick, 1 for Standard, 1.5 for Epic, 3 for Marathon)
 
Yes, this is specified in Civ5GameSpeeds.xml. For example, under Marathon, growth requirements are 300% of Standard:

<GrowthPercent>300</GrowthPercent>
