did this change with the latest patch?

i swear i used to park my spies in enemy cities that i planned on conquering to lower the espionage costs. i'm not sure if i did that with opponents i had open borders with but now i am noticing that when i declare war, because ending the open border agreements, my spies are removed from the enemy cities. i guess i should close borders and then send the spies in, but since spies are invisible units, should they be removed when open border agreements are canceled? i say no, keep them where they are.

I hadn't noticed that but if it is true yes they should stay where they are. To suggest the enemy knows where your spies are and forces them to leave is just funny. Maybe if they have alot of espionage points and you do not then it would make some sense.

That's a bug, and it is fixed in Bhruic's Unofficial Patch.

And I can proudly say that I was the first one to report the bug. :-D
It happened right away in the first game of 3.13 that I started.

thanks..now i know i'm not crazy. cmon...firaxis, stop messing things up with the damn patches! patches are supposed to fix things, not fix things and make new bugs.....argghh..
