(NAB: User Error) Specialist Crash

When I Change a specialist in one of my cities the game crashes to the desktop (no warning).
The city has grown to a size where one citizen has to be a specialist and then I change it from the default tax collector -> scientist -> desktop. Happened three times. Any suggestions?

Sorry, should've read the bug reports forum...

1. Load game [sic]
2. Go to city Curovernum (you know how to find it).
3. Change tax collector to whatever comes after scientist.

Observed Result:
The game will crash to the desktop.

Expected Result:
The player should be able to change the specialist.

Did you implement any patches which may have changed some of the files (e.g. the graphics for the new specialist?)

Nope. Only the 1.15 Beta.
A friend og mine checked it, though, with no problems, so it seems that it would be a problem with my comp.


...come to think of it, I do have a smiley face patch installed, to make it easier to see the mood of my citizens.
I'll try and uninstall and report back.

It was my population heads mod that was to blame.
DL'ed another one and I can switch to whichever specialist I want.

I found this thread and tried the advice but my game still crashes to the desktop when I try to cycle through the specialists. It only happens in my games once a city has grown beyond size twenty. When the cities are smaller, I can cycle through all of the specialists with no problem. Once all of the city spaces are being worked and excess population are becoming specialists is when the problem occurs. They start as taxmen, I can change them to scientists but when I click them again to become entertainers the game crashes to the desktop.

I am playing the latest patch of C3C and have restored what I believe is the original popHead file. I have been using a modified version. Any thoughts? Thanks.

well could u just reinstall C3C in a different folder, that will get rid of the damned modpack
