Any chance of Civ4 Ringtones for mobile phones?

Some of you might remember my thread about Justinian's theme tune. And now I got another weird idea, which is I want it for my ring tone :lol: Does anyone know if it's already been done or can be done?
 
There are some programs that let you make custom ringtones out of MP3s, like XingTone.
 
I would definitely use the sound effect the game uses when declaring war. How awesome would that be! And any civ fan would recognize it instantly.
 
Justinians theme sounds good, Jao's too. My favorite is Pecal's theme =/

The war decleration sound would be a good one for when I recieve texts. Wonder how a stranger on the street would react to that :lol:
 
I just get the song I want to turn into a ring tone/message tone and edit in Audacity, its a free program that requires basically 0 prior music or software knowledge. Simply edit the part you want, add fade-in and a fade-out etc.

Very easy, very quick, no learning curve! You just need to grab the music file you need.

Well a search in the Civ4 folder turns up 3 Justinian mp3s and none of them is the fast diplomacy one. They're all the slow ones with the monastery yodelling. Hmm why does it have to be so hard? :D
Might need to capture it from playback... Know any good (= easy) capturing and trimming programs?
 
DeclareWar.wav is a good message tone, 5 seconds and no editing required :D

Its definitely taking my Civgeekdom to the next level :goodjob:

Hahahahhaha CityRevolt.wav is hilarious, people screaming and sounds of destruction. Not sure my work would like hearing it constantly though....
