Chichen Itza NOT contributing to my Golden Age

hello civies,

In my civ game I am ready to start a long GA with my great artist. I have Universal Suffrage and Chichen Itza, so my 8 turns of a GA should increased by 100% (16 turns!). When I hover over the artist GA button, I am told that choosing this will create a 12 turn GA.

That is only a 50% increase not 100%!

I wonder if this is the problem, I control Chichen Itza but I acquired it when I captured another Civs capital city. The city was puppeted and is no longer in revolt. I tried annexing the city and the GA length remained to same from the Great Artist (12 turns).

So if you don't build a wonder you do not get bonus' from it?

I also acquired Himeji Castle in this captured city. I forgot to check to see if my units now have the bonus from this. But I will check later tonight, I hope so it is a
great buff!

thanks for all your help!

Dunno what the problem is, but it shouldn't be the CI; You should get the bonus as soon as you get the city, whether is puppeted or not, in revolt or not.

If anyone can think of anything else I can try or look into please let me know!

Otherwise I am going to consider this a very very very annoying bug...
