inadvertently deleted mods folder

I was planning on modding some files and accidently deleted my MODS folder, I tried to make a new one and the mods wont show ingame. maybe im placing the folder in the wrong place? anyone know what the issue could be?

As long as you didn't empty your recycle bin, just go to the recycle bin and restore it.
