Naval warfare on Deity

I like to create a mixture of the two. My first level 4 units will get range. When I have 2-3 of them, the next units will get the level 3 bombardment/targeting promotion, in order to get logistics as the 4th promotion. If the AI has lots of units laying around I can get enough XP without having to attack cities with the un-ranged units. In the mean-time the 3-range units target a city. When I'm about to capture a city in two turns, I also bring units without range in order to get XP. They can heal when i conquer the city.

Also if I have naval superiority, I will attack naval units with bombardment promoted units, and land units with targeting promoted units just to get more shots for the extra XP
