i've searched the site looking for answers and i did find a similar problem but i couldn't really understand what i should do.
I have the original CIV 4 complete edition game. I used to play a lot with XP but for some reason i never installed it on windows 7.
So last couple of weeks i missed the game and i try to install it but i couldn't. The DVD starts to read until this:
setup is searching for updated Directx Runtime components and updating as necessary. This may take a few minutes....
until the computer freezes and i need to restart it.
I know i have to install a patch or something, but i'm really lost, if anyone could help me.
