Heyho folks,
This is my first mod, but after a few days, i've got it running smoothly.
It adds the Ainu Civilization, with all that encompasses.
- Leader: Shakushain
- Trait: Oral Tradition
- Unique Unit: Kutune Shirka
- Unique Bulding: Porotokotan
- Custom icons for both Civ and Leader are present, as well as CivMap and CivMOD.
- Relatively extensive information on the Civilization as well as Shakushain, the last chieftan to rise up against the Japanese, back in 1669 - 1672.
The Ainu focus heavily on culture to get the upper hand.
Their history is still largely unknown, but numerous suggestions allude to their aboriginal status, as well as status as fierce warriors - although generally peaceful as a civilization.
They lived and died by the sea, which is also reflected in the Kutune Shirka being Amphibious, as well as the Porotokotan generating extra food and culture from fishing boats, but at a higher gold cost.
The Oral Tradition trait is a rework of the French trait; it gives them +1
Culture for every city they own, throughout the game.
Note: It hasn't been play-tested that much yet, so imbalances might occur. Also, as is the nature of such errors, grammar, syntax and spelling errors may still exist here and there - but hopefullly not to such an extent that it ruins the experience.
