Guess the New Civs

I find it si strange they didn't go with a 'rise of Rome' scenario too.
I mean the Celts, Carthage, it's all there.

Yes. That could have been quite a bit better, since it could have the Gauls and Carthage at the appropriate times. Still, in the Civilization series having your capital city sacked tends to be the end of everything and that might be awkward to work into a scenario like that.

Still, they seem quite keen on Attila.

Hmmm Please looking for a Symbol (Badge) representing Austria on the Gods & Kings!

This Badge is a Polish symbol!

Firaxis Games made a mistake!
Dream on. Polish eagle is different. I wish the devs went for the gold-black Habsburg colours, but I'm ok with the scheme they chose. After all, red and white were the national colours of Austria since late Middle Ages.

It could be that they used a silhouette of the Austrian eagle for their symbol, and then decided to use the Austrian flag's colours. I don't think they actually used a Polish eagle.
But it does indeed look like a Polish eagle

Gold and black would have been nice but that's already taken by Russia.
If one looks at the eagle one can see that he is holding something in his claws which is clearly Austrian and not Polish.

Spoiler :
Austria:

Poland:

It's too difficult to tell from that picture.
As said it could be an Austrian eagle in Austria's colours.

(And to be honest, an eagle is an eagle, there are tons of countries with an eagle as their symbol)

It definitively the Austrian eagle simply colored in the Austrian colors. This does make it look like the Polish eagle. The only way they could have gotten the proper colors for the eagle would have meant that the Austrians would use red and black as their color, which doesn't look to good and doesn't suit Austria at all.

I honestly think that if there was Poland included, the symbol would be the white eagle of Casimir the Great (http://histmag.org/grafika/turniej/y5.jpg) or other Late Medieval version. The Austrian one is either from their modern coat of arms, or from late 19th century Austria-Hungary.

So no, there is no mistake in colours or the choice of eagle. As Anandus said, there are tons of eagle symbols in Europe, so you can't avoid similarities.

I doubt he knows what the real last civ is. The page says Byzantiums UU are Cataphract and Varagian Guard, while we already know that one of their UU is the Dromon.

Could the last civ be the Moors?
