Well Spray, this started several months ago, in the Civ-2 general area.
In a thread, people were talking about the most annoying civ when AI controlled, that always sneak attacked.
The Zulus , with Mongols a close second, was the general consensus.
Before you know it, people started to become pro or anti-Zulu, and camps were formed.
The ZA, or Zulu Alliance, was lead by Leowind.
The AZC, or anti-zulu Coalition, was led by Vlad, with CoH as first minister.
I was the suppossed neutral, but actually highly anti-Zulu biased ZNN reporter Wolf Spritzer, and Stormerne led a group of mercenary Eagles that served the ZA. Lefty was the cyber civ, trying to assimilate the entire forum, in Borg like fashion. All of the regular posters were part of one side or the other, with a small group led by Håkan Erikkson acting as neutrals, trying to end the war.
This went on back and forth for about a month, and ended with the nuking of the Zulu capital of Ulindi.
The war has remained untalked about since those days, but it is one of the better memories of the old CFC, when we were all friends, before a few children and nasty forum Nazi types arrived on the scene.
It seems some of the later guys may have now caught Zulu war fever, and want to take up the fight again.

AofA, I should let him speak for himself, but Stormerne's eagles were actually opportunistic mercenaries feeding on the carrion of the battle field, whether Zulu or Hippo they didn't care. While I would like to claim him as a member of the ZA, I could never convince him to take our side. He remained "aggressive neutral" throughout the campaign, so far as I know.

Zimbabwe is very safe, and immune to your puny helsibarbarian attacks. The Shaka is very forgiving, and a place will always be open to you in the Zulu Alliance, once you have seen the light of higher Zulu enlightenment.

Actually, Leo, Storm and his birds wanted human sacrifice, if you recall, a price the ZA were willing to pay, and that the AZC were never willing to do. 
And you must issue a coat hanger and lamp for your newist follower to worship!

AofA, I dont' recall ever offering human sacrifice to the Storm's eagles! (Hippos, perhaps, but not humans ). If this was done, it was without the consent of the leadership of the ZA. The ZA condems in the strongest possible terms the offering of human sacrifices. If you know what thread or PM this was done in, please point it out to me so the ZA can take the proper internal disciplinary actions (like a few days at the bottom of the outhouse

Leowind is correct. We sent hippo sacrifices to the eagles, we never sacrificed humans. Human sacrifice is not and has never been advocated, supported, or condoned by the Zulu Alliance, explicitly or implicitly, overtly or covertly. Our ultimate goal in the war was peace and freedom from persecution. Human sacrifice can hardly run concurrent with such an ideal.
Just be glad I don't have my moderator privs! I'd be editing your posts to say how much you love me and gjts00, you pinko!

Ever since I first had any dealings with Civ, I have hated the Zulus and destroyed them on every occasion. Thus, when I find a war against these....primitives....going on here, I take a side. And that side is anti-Zulu until the end, regardless of any lily livered peace efforts.
Therefore, I, and my customized civilization, the Soviet Union/ Evil Empire (name depends on mood) are directing all our efforts into this conflict. At least until it gets boring, and uni go's back. Any who oppose will find cities with their name attacked with copious nuclear weapons in a act of war and derision
