I thought I would pass this along. I had a very bad experience with my game, constant crashes, choppy pictures. I updated my audio drivers and drivers for my Nvidia Geforce fx 5500 vid card.
The only way i could play was using the fix described in memory leaks thread by pharoh. It was still choppy and slow but no crashes.
This weekend i did a complete sytsem restore. This time i installed the new Geforce drivers alone, not on top of the old drivers and the game has played as smooth as silk all weekend.
If you install new drivers make sure you remove the old first. Hope it helps some of you.
