About different era's

Why can't I choose to only play a certain era? If I want to play only ancient era why can't I choose that? I think its a big minus for the game to not have this option..

There's already an option for that in advanced settings

Actually you can start in an era in Advanced Settings, but not limit th game to that era. There are mods in the steam workshop to limit techs to a particular era, so you can combine the two. If you want to play only in Renaissance, load the End in Renaissance mod and start the game in Renaissance. Same with Classical, or Atomic, or whatever.

Tis an awesome series of mods. It really makes civs with a fun UU even more fun to play.
