Gold wont even install.

This is very odd. Note I have CIV Gold.

Srtest say's I can run it... great. Someone other than myself put the disc into the PC, clicked install, and the PC just froze. So, he restarted. I came in, trying to install it, and now it gives me the option to quit, read the file, or play. I click play... nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

did you try running the setup from the disc directly?
