I like these "mini" units a lot. I was using some of your last minis for an updated version of Rise of the Dictators. I think these are even better. They remind me of the 1:72 scale toy soldiers I played with as I child. Now I just play with them on the PC instead

I suppose Fairline can post his own graphics, but since I've already uploaded these to CFC for someone else, I might as well post the links. These PNGs have been compressed with PNGOut and are IE-friendly. I routinely clean up the transparent backgrounds, as I always seem to find some impertinent units showing off their pink bits in the game.

I have seen these units before but they still blow my socks off! Great idea to post them right near the start of the WWII thread. These should be more than enough to cover almost any conceivable WWII scenario.

If there's anything you want fixed, removed or swapped, let me know. All PNGs have been compressed with PNGOut/PNGGauntlet, which shaves about 20% off the size and removes the gAMA chunk (causes gamma problems in IE).

gAMA chunk, mate, gAMA chunk . I've got no idea. I know there are plugins for IrfanView and Photoshop. I use PNGGauntlet, which is drag and drop with batch processing, and I drop Ken Silverman's latest version of PNGOut in the \Program Files\PNGGauntlet\support folder.

Great, thanks! I'm looking for WWII Soviet 76mm and 122mm towed artillery. Fairline has done a 152mm heavy gun, so I'm looking for a couple of complimentary units. Btw, his 76mm is an anti-tank weapon, I'm looking for the field gun.

For the 76mm I'd suggest the USV (Fairline's piece is the ZiS-3 that replaced it)

Very nice job. Would it be possible to elevate the barrel somewhat to differentiate it from an anti-tank gun?
