I am very disappointed with this game. Both Epics are in Beijing even though it is hammer poor. The Heroic Epic should be in a HAMMER RICH city. Where is the Iron Works? What, not started!! What about Wall Street? Oxford Uni? No wonder the RNGod sends us horsehockey luck ... you do know that he is expecting us to pull our own weight in some areas and not just rely on him (or silly coloured pills).

Also, who set up Karakorum? It has a non-irrigated Wheat and Rice just sitting there doing bugger all. That is 2F per turn that we are just wasting.

And has anyone done anything about our Tribe Objective yet? No! Too much time just dreaming and taking drugs.

Wow - what a rant! First things first, personal objective. Roll dice and ... a 7! 7! Yes 7. How? I don't know it just came out 7. Ok, look up list of things and 7 is not on the list. Look harder and find this in very small text.

That's right. I had 4 works build a pointless cottage (ie not in a city radius) and then one of our knights pillaged it. As Rex would say ... rinse, repeat. Tribal objective complete on turn 470. Unfortunately, I didn't have internet access so I didn't roll up a new tribal objective.

Other things that I did ...
  • burnt the Great Merchant for 3750 gold
  • turned up the tech rate to 100%, -360 gold per turn (last 5 turns only), ran at break even (70%) prior to that
  • signed a defensive pact with Mehmed
  • started spreading Confucianism
  • revolted to Confucianism (relationship improvements with Mehmed and others)
  • Started Iron Works in Guangzhou (someone should reconfigure this city to max hammers - that means farms on grasslands, workshops on plains, etc - I don't care if it already has towns on some of those grasslands, that was a mistake and should be fixed)
  • Whipped a uni in Karakorum for 4 pop and started Oxford Uni
  • irrigated the wheat and rice at Karakorum
  • Learnt Industrialism and Fascism
  • Traded Fascism to Mehmed II for Liberalism, world map and 520 gold
  • Traded Assembly Line, Physics to Tokugawa for Military Tradition, Democracy, Biology, World Map and 30 gold
  • Set research on Electricity (but no beakers invested so can be changed)
  • forgot about the Great Engineer - there are only National Wonders available. I would suggest we burn him to complete West Point (+4XPs) in Guangzhou (Ironworks due in 10)

Well, at least you 2 have a better excuse than me. I knew we can pillage our own cottage, but the thought completely flew over me :blush:
 
Wel, I took the Blue pill (and it as bitter very bitter.)

I rolled a 10 which means we have 3 wars or spread 3. We have 50 turns.

We also have 4 for personal. Spread a religion. Hail to the synergy.

Okay folks, no pictures, because it's 3 Am and a very boring turnset in some respects.

The unit report is that I evacuated Transports and sent it all to the cities around the Incan lands. The other half of that is they have alot of troops. Still, we can win a war vs them.

So, I spread my religions and completed both personal and tribal.

The notible points...

Toku wanted Facism for Com and we had to add 2.2 or so gold. Pfft. No way.
Hannibal wants us Hindu. No way in hell!

The Annoying Incan (Tm) builds the last Thruster and the Docking Bay!

So, I make a big gamble...I burn a Scientist and head to Fission! Mehmed WILL sign a PA with us as soon as we share a war or DP for long enough. So, we can break the DP and DOW on Brennus, dragging Mehmed with us, with mgiht do it (and give us techs we need to DOW on the Incan).

Or, we wait out the DP maturity time.

The most important rule is reports should be funny. Also, you should provide adequate details (preferably screenshots) on how an objective is achieved. Normal SG etiquette applies. Standard 24hrs to post a got it, 48hrs to play and report.
 
okay, first, no, we can't win a war vs inca. trust me, we had free tanks, free nukes, and free stealth bombers, and it still was tough. second, i remember that the dp has to last for 40 turns (adjusted for speed setting) before pa is available. i don't know if that's true, outdated, whatever. either way, it does take a while. but still, unless it's with inca, how will a pa win us this game? has anyone else built a spaceship part?

whatever, all of this is speculating on what we ought not to. let's get back to random objectives. that's our victory as laid out in the original rngod game.

I tried this, but I kept getting an Error Message back that stated "You are in deep SH!T"
