On the first G&K Let's Play, MadDjinn used the Pastafarianism mod. However, that is purely cosmetic.

I don't think I would ever play Civ5 with a gameplay mod but cosmetic mods seem to be ok. The same applied to Civ2 and Civ4 as I had been playing since (ca.)1997. However, what I look forward to are new games of Civ5 = full scenarios built from scratch (and tested for balance). I have a long history with scenario builders such as Shay Yates Roberts, Krull, and others I can't think of, plus of course, Dale.

Hmm... Suddenly less apathetic about Civ5... need to get working on E'iten again...
