Why is Airport disabled? It is nice to have airports with airlift ability.

I had added in the airport building so that aircraft could get XP, like barracks, however the patch let barracks give exp to all units, air, ground and sea, so the airports function was added into the barracks and there was no longer a need for me to have that building. :)
 
Version 41 Released

This version has been rewritten from the ground up and should run better
New name now that it's moved on from the initial religion release to
better give the mod a description on it's current contents
Religion has been redone based on feedback
Tax Office removed because it's been added in official patches
Childrens Creche Redesigned
Another balance pass to all the buildings
caravel slightly buffed again
corporations disabled, they are going to be redesigned as well

love this mod but know I get the MSVCR90.dll Load C++ Runtime crash when I save a mod game. I know from posts that this is a Steam issue. tried running Steam, offline, etc... am I the only person with this. never had an issue before. running .348

Fixes a massive bug causing crashes on reload of the game.

Download asap or you won't be able to reload a game from a save.

Use ingame downloader or download from www.cyrinno.com

You will probably have to start a new game, this fix probably won't work with existing games.

Glad I came here this morning!:) I finished my first Echoes game a few days ago -- (must have been version 40?) managed a science win as America on Emperor, small continents, standard time. Then I noticed an update, and downloaded from in-game the new version (V41 or 42?). Tried a couple of games, but as soon as I tried reloading after getting crap from goodie huts the reload crash bug kicked in. So I gave up in frustration & had to be content to keep reading my Michener book, "Caribbean.":p

Nope; didn't work! Just downloaded V43 from in-game; started a new game; saved before looking at a goodie hut; tried to reload & it crashed again.:sad: Did I do something wrong? Should I empty the game cache? and/or delete the ModUserFile contents?

I was also using InfoAddict and one other little script mod -- would these have interfered?

Sorry for the double-post. :blush: I should delete my previous one, except that maybe it'll help some other fool. I suddenly realized that I hadn't deleted V42; went back and did that, started another game, reloaded after the first goodie hut visit, and :clap: it reloaded without a hitch!:dance:

I like it! I finished the game that I posted yesterday -- America, Emperor, Standard Small Continents map, Standard Time -- managed a science win at turn 387 (1967). I like the little bonus buildings which make use of obsolete iron & horses to provide happiness & such. I did the religion thing -- chose the one that gave me 6 :c5food:; guess I like it. Central Park is especially helpful -- 25% increase in :c5production:.

I rather lucked out in this game because I discovered the Fountain of Youth on about turn 6 & also popped culture from a goodie hut, so was able to get my 2nd policy early on -- I chose a settler (of course). Settled close to the FoY & bought about 4 tiles bordering on my friendly Mongol neighbors, who immediately DW. Managed to survive the onslaught, and by the time it was over I had researched iron working & turned out to have 6 iron on a previously constructed mine.:)

About the time that I had whittled the Mongol invasion force down to a nuisance, the Romans (from way far away) DW'd and managed to take my 3rd city. Their supply line was so strung out, however, that they were defeated in just a few turns and I regained my city, having lost only 3/4 of its population & all its buildings. So, anyway, I was at war with the Mongols from then on -- 'til I wiped them off the map, and with the Romans until about the end of the game. They finally offered peace where they didn't ask for everything I had, so I accepted & then bribed all their CS allies.:D

Can you or some other modder modify the stupid Military Advisor??? He is always such a wimp!

I have been getting crashes in retail non modded version too so I am not sure whats happening with CiV in general right now.

It's not something specific to my mod. Set your auto saves to every turn is the best solution I've found until they release another patch.
