Trouble Downloading Civ 4 Complete Ed

So I had to recently reset my computer to factory settings in order to fix some odd problem, and I needed to redownload my Civ4.

I put the disc from my Civ 4 Complete Edition box into my laptop and... nothing happens. Nothing comes onto my screen at all.

I have Windows 8.1.
