Will be first GOTM I'm going to seriously try (as opposed to COTM. Less COTMs is giving me an incentive to try GOTMs). Will have to work on learning all the things in PTW I'm not quite familiar with (thanks for the list, Lanzelot). Probably going for Spaceship, since this is the Russians. Usually I do 20k so it'll be a relief to be able to expand and not worry about getting a city to size 12.
