Yes it is a fun game!
It takes a long time and I just love the way the fighting is!

What kind of game is 7 kingdoms? Is it turn-based strategy or what? I've seen it in stores but never bought it...is it worth it?

Yes it's strategy, and for once, the diplomatic section is really deep. Very interesting. This a game where you can win using diplomacy. Now I won't go further in my answer, I let you get the game and... discover it! You must play it.

1) Don't have it here in London.
2) Don't have much time.
Perhaps later, in several months, when I have a permanent job and a DSL connection
