Is there a way to set the RMB (Right-Mouse_button) as a Goto command? i.e. select a worker with LMB and move mouse to new location tile then press RMB to invoke "goto here". Is this possible? i kind of remember Civ I had this feature, although that was many years ago.....

Not quite. Now you click on the unit, then click and hold as to where you want the unit to go - obviously let go at the target.

"J" works for an entire stack of units of any kind in C3C. "Ctrl-J" is for similar units in Conquests.
