Who do you have more love for? Your family of origin or your friends?

I almost wrote simply "family & friends" for the title but to me the family you choose (aka - your wife & children) is a completely different bag of worms than the one you are born into.

By the way, for me it's friends hands down.

Note : I'm sure radioactive monkies &/or Santa Clause are more important to some of you than either family or friends or even sunlight or water but they are not to be options on any Narzian poll.

Close family.Wife and parents in equal measure without a doubt.
Without whom i would'nt be here today blah blah blah......A~

Family, no doubt. Besides, all of my real friends are considered family.

I dont often agree with John HSOG, but I would go along with that statement. :goodjob:

Partners deserve priority. It may sound cruel, but everyone else is (relatively) dispensable.

Blood is thicker than water. Family.

At the moment family is more important I guess, but I expect that to change while I grow more independent from them in the coming years. When I get married I expect it to change back to family again...

At what point do you choose your children?
My love for them is like for my parents, according to my bond.
My wife was my friend first, and still is, but now by giving me children we have an unbreakable bond come what may.

Cordelia: Unhappy that I am, I cannot heave
My heart into my mouth. I love your Majesty
According to my bond, no more nor less.

Lear: How, how, Cordelia? Mend your speech a little
Lest you mar your fortunes.

Cordelia: Good my lord,
You have begot me, bred me, loved me. I
Return those duties back as are right fit,
Obey you, love you, and most honor you.
Why have my sisters husbands if they say
They love you all? Haply, when I shall wed,
That lord whose hand must take my plight shall carry
Half my love with him, half my care and duty.
Sure I shall never marry like my sisters,
To love my father all.

Family. No offense to my friends, but they are not as lovable. Of course, I am a guy, so it is extremely rare to see my express my love at all.

My parents/brothers and sisters or blood family are second to married family but probably before friends.
