What a FanDamnTastic looking group of leaderheads, they actually look

I personally want to thank you and i salute you for doing this!!

Anytime you want to help out doing more, just PM me or one of the other modder's you'd like to work with and we'll see whats going on at the time, again many many thx.


Also the Civ V looking btns for Polynesia is fantastic looking also, more would be nice of them also, thx.

Are you going to adopt them into the core then SO?
Oh and we could use a lot more like this for some projects to come so if you do adopt them into the core and find you have other artworks going unused due to having been replaced by these, keep 'em around cuz I'm sure we'll end up using them.

I think SO just uploaded them into the SVN can't wait to download them and try them out in the game

The leadeheads might be cool but I like the Civ4 styles flags better than Civ5.

I have to have Wilhelmina no matter what, because her name contains my Last name. *wink*

Speaking of those, am I the only one who prefers the original civilization flags, like over the actual stars and stripes flag? It's just weird meeting the City State of Russia in 40k B.C.E., waving the modern russian flag.

No offense to either of you, but that flag will NEVER be in any of my stuff!! Confederate one is ok, but just not this one, sorry.

Ah I didn't mean anything by it (never even heard of the bonnie blue flag till now, pretty interesting stuff), could've used the St George's cross of England or the fleur-de-lis of France as examples, as well.

The point was that those modern flags, to me at least, are an eyesore and I usually just edit the xml file to point back to the original flags which imo are far more fitting.

Can you put your XML changes in the mod mod sub forum area I'm sure other people are interested to see what you have come up with.

I could once I get back to my own computer, but all I really did was re-insert the original flag decal filepaths to the artdefines_civilization.xml in C2C (iirc it's in the assets/xml/art folder), it's very easy to do.

OK found a huge mistake when you made the buttons:

you made them at 128X128, it might be that way in Civ V, BUT for Civ IV it must be 64X64

The one we have look fine. We don't need Civ4 to look like Civ5.
