Start Locations

So what do I have to do to make starting locations random? I think I've seen enough of Brazil for now.

Try playing on a random Faireweather map. That random enough for you?

That's always a possibility, but I really like WH maps.

On a side note, is it me or do the Faireweather maps have an overabundance of hills?

The WH maps are cool, but a lot of locations just aren't good due to their distance from Europe. I guess you could always just go into the world editor and give yourself a new ship and units wherever you like, and delete your old one by brazil.

As for the fairweather maps having lots of hills, can't say I've noticed but I've never really paid that much attention to it. I always like hills though... ore = tools = guns and cannons, and you need a sh!t load of both to win on a higher level.
