2 Fantasy 2 Football: Official 2005 Civfanatics Fantasy Football league (NFL)

I know it is almost 3 months until the season starts, but best to get things started and organized early.

Like last year, this league will be run on Yahoo Sports Fantasy league, with the following settings, which I believe are basically the same as last year. The only thing I changed was having 2 WR, and 2 RB, with the option of adding a WR or a RB, instead of 3 WR and 2 RB. However, this can be changed back.

Like last year this league is completely free, I think you just need a yahoo email account, which is free to get, and takes about 1 minute to register for one.

All the settings are open for discussion, so if you have other ideas for the settings, let us know, and we will go with what is the general consensus.

I am considering using fractional points, because not much is more annoying in FF than when you are 1 yd short of another point, but first, I want to see what everyone else thinks about that idea.

I'm considering this. How do you work the draft? I already have a yahoo e-mail account so that's no prob. I've done some fantasy football a few years ago, but never online like this.

It's fairly simple really. At the appointed time, (8:45pm EST August 23rd, 2005) we all log on to a special draft site on Yahoo! reserved just for our league, then we select from a list of all NFL players we want by clicking on their name, in a predetermined draft order. I think it took us about 1 1/2 hours to go through all 16 rounds last year.

That sounds good and doesn't sound like it would take too long then. Count me in, I'll pm my e-mail to you in a few minutes. I want the team name of...Dragons!

I always use Fred's Freaks or Greg's Gourdheads on all my fantasy stuff, but
I will probably stick with the Freaks .
