Here's one where I got beat (I got my revenge in the following game but it went all the way to the endgame and was not a very tacticly captivating game) :

It was a draw for a long time but I had to try and play for a win. Unfortunately my team lost despite my win. I made good use of my time having ~5 seconds left at timecontrol and using 2:35 total.

The main alternative on my part is probably 9... f6 instead of Qb4+, as for white, he may have tried 37. Ke2 and 39. g5 which looks drawish.

Feel free to comment if you find anything.

Quite embarrassing (seeing that I'm Manifestor). Seems I've got a lot of redeeming to do.

It didn't have to be such a slaughter, after 15. h4 (which probably wasn't my best possible move) O-O 16. Ne5 black could've played Qf5 without much of a problem. After the text 16. ... Bg4 blacks games crumbles and he makes a series of blunders so terrible I mightn't of been able to design it better if I tried.

Really not such a remarkable game but I haven't been playing too much these last few nights.

I played what I thought was an interesting fast game today. The time control was 10 minutes with a 3 second increment. I usually have slow strategic games rather than... this.

The one real mistake I made was on move 37, should have played Nb3 and exchanged my a-pawn. I failed to see that there would be no time later to do this. Also, on move 45 I could have played Nb5 which I somehow missed. I guess I had already mentally resigned at that point. I had 5 minutes left on my clock at the end and my opponent 10.

I'm getting closer though, this was my best game against him and maybe I'll manage to draw him one day.
That would be nice.

well, ok. here's one I played on vacation:

I played this at InstantChess.com (I played as white.) I found it interesting because the checkmate was really unexpected and I rarely see one where only pawns and a knight are involved. Some of my :smoke: moves were done because this was timed, 5 minutes IIRC.

Yep, rather unusual mate there. Did I miss something or would you have been a piece down with 11...Qxh1+? Looks like an obvious move to me, even in a 5 minute game...

(12. Kd2 Nf3+ 13. Kc2 Qxd1+ 13. Kxd1 and the Knight looks trapped.)
