new member, pologies if this is in the wrong place.

civrev bricked my 360.

well, by that I mean it was the game that was in the drive when the console died. At any rate, I'm looking at a month before I can play more civrev--I'm dying on the inside.

there is hope, though...I've been playing a bunch of system link matches with buddies who've been playing civ since I was in short pants, and they're willing to let me borrow II, III or IV to scratch my itch. All I've played is the original and Rev...should I start with II, do ya think, or just leap on into IV? I'm no pro, but I learn quick. Thanks in advance!

oh, and about the patch? Farewell, megacities. Never cared for the Romans anyhow.

Any of the 3 are fun games, but none of the 3 are like revolutions.

They're all more indepth and games take longer to complete then revolutions.

That said, if memory serves, I would say civ 2 is probably closest to civ rev in terms of actual gameplay. I could be wrong though because I haven't played civ 2 in at least 4-5 years now.

As a side note, civ 4 is my favorite civ game in the series (including civ rev).
