Can someone please answer. Maybe I installed incorrectly but...

None of the civilizations from Gods and Kings are available in Brave New World.
Should they be?

All the scenerios from G&K and vinallia are gone.

When I play Earth it starts me off in in a random spot.

1. Brave New World only comes with Ethiophia and Statue of Zeus.
2. You need respective DLCs for each of the scenarios (and G&K for the Smoky, Renaissance and Fall of Rome scenarios)
3. Earth map is a simple map, not a "true starting locations" map.

All content from all expansions and small DLCs you own should be available to you at any time. Check your "dlc" menu (in main menu) if all elements are checked.

Also, there are no vanilla scenarios although you should always have access to the 'free DLC' Mongol Terror scenario. Those too are all DLC or G&K, so the same applies as mentioned for civs.
