Favorite Good?

On the civiliopedia, it says that I should be able to see a native camp's favorite trade good on it, but I can't seem to do so. All I see is the population number, the city name, and what specialist it trains. What gives?

On a related note, in Civ4 I can see how many turns until pop growth AND building completion. In this game, I can see neither. Is there something I can do about this?

There is a small icon on the right hand side of the name bar indicating their favourite trading goods. You might have to zoom in to see it clearly.

You can also zoom all the way out, and, using the resource display, turn on the "Native Goods Requests" overlay, much like you can turn on the "Native Training" overlay.

I was wondering this too. The checkbox that's available in the Civ4 Options menu seems to not be there in Colonization. Perhaps someone will mod it in...

i guess they decided this was needless information and improved the interface by removing it
